Winter mountaineering activities to care for "Children of the stars"
Away from the city haze, into the fresh forest. On January 16, the party branch of Exciton carried out the activity of "caring for the hengxi pavilion xiling ancient road climbing". Nearly 20 families and a large number of volunteers had an intimate contact with nature in the warm winter sun.
This activity adopts the mode of "one to one" service. Two volunteers serve a family of star treasure. While taking good care of star treasure, they should help it complete mountaineering and a series of interesting games. After a short break on the old hengxi ridge road, everyone began to talk and laugh as they headed for the top of the mountain. To increase the fun of mountaineering, the volunteers designed a "gift card" collection session along the way, and all the stargazers who successfully reached the top of the mountain could get corresponding New Year gifts with their gift CARDS. With a height of more than 300 meters and a capacity of more than 1,600 meters, the relatively steep mountain road is no small test for xingbao's physical strength and the patience of volunteers. On the way, xingbao situation is frequent, some have been clamoring for "bungee jumping", some have to eat snacks from time to time, some are too tired to give up.. With the unremitting efforts of parents and volunteers, all of them succeeded in reaching the top of the mountain.
Afterwards, the house jumping competition and star treasure interactive exchange meeting were held at the peak rest place. Towards evening, everyone went back home with their harvest.
This mountaineering event is the first time to care for the star treasure in 2016, and subsequent Exciton volunteers will cooperate with the autism family assistance center to carry out more meaningful activities. I believe that more volunteers will join in the activities of caring for star treasure in the future, because of love and responsibility.
