Brightness Enhancement Film

The Brightness Enhancement Film (BEF), also called Prism Film by its micro-prism-array, is a new high-performance optical film. BEFs are widely used in Back Light Units (BLU) of LCD screens for the brightness increasement of LCD screens, such as TVs, monitors, tablets, phones and so on, which will results in power savings.

Features

With a micro-prism-array made of UV-curing acrylic resin coating on a polyester film layer, BEF can control BLU Unit's luminance and view angle through its refraction, full reflection, lights accumulation and so on.

Advantages

Our company has developed a variety of BEF products, such as common type, anti-interference type, wide viewing angle type and so on. The thickness of BEFs varies from 188 um to 400 um, which can cover requirements of MNTs and TVs with different sizes.

Our company also has developed many sets of Thin BEF products, such as C, X, D, U and Q series, which can improve display uniformity and defect hiding, provide brightness enhancement, anti-adsorption performance and so on. The high-end series such as D, U and Q, also have outstanding impact-resistance, self-healing and anti-Newton Rings performance, which have been found particularly suitable for applications of larger and thinner touch-panels.
